Eastern Regional Coordinating Director Pays Working Visit to Akuapim South Municipal Assembly

2026 ERCC Director Visit The Eastern Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah, paid a working visit to the Assembly to familiarize himself with the staff.

The visit coincided with a staff durbar held at the Assembly Hall to discuss administrative matters, staff welfare, and strategies for improving service delivery.

The meeting was attended by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Paul Ossae Offei; the Eastern Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah; the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Appiah Kubi; staff of the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council (ERCC) and staff of the Assembly.

In his welcome address, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Appiah Kubi, proposed the introduction of a weekly mid-week prayer session for staff to seek God’s guidance in the discharge of their duties.

He also advised staff to refrain from spreading misinformation and encouraged them to uphold unity and teamwork to support the vision of the Municipal Chief Executive and Management towards the development of the municipality.

Addressing the staff, the Eastern Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah, commended the Assembly for the significant development and progress it has achieved.

Director however, urged staff to uphold professionalism and integrity by desisting from the falsification of certificates, unauthorized postings and promotions, information leakage, and other unethical practices.

He further charged staff to exhibit positive attitudes towards work, remain proactive in the performance of their duties, and embrace postings made in the interest of the service rather than seeking transfers on unjustifiable grounds.

In his remarks, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Paul Ossae Offei, expressed appreciation to the staff for their dedication and teamwork.

Hon Paul Osae Offei, encouraged them to continue supporting Management by adhering to its directives, emphasizing that all decisions are made in the best interest of the Assembly and the municipality.

The MCE also announced that the Akuapim South Municipal Assembly emerged as the best-performing municipality among the 14 municipalities in the Eastern Region during the 2025 District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) exercise.

He noted that the achievement has positioned the Assembly to receive additional funding to support capacity-building programmes and key developmental projects within the municipality.

Further, he encouraged staff to channel any concerns affecting their work through his office, assuring them of Management’s commitment to promote staff welfare and create a conducive working environment.

As part of the visit, the Eastern Regional Coordinating Director officially commissioned the Assembly’s newly constructed Resource Centre, which is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and facilitate effective work processes.
